A Pro bono Six (6) Hour OASAS Approved CASAC Workshop!

CASACs, Social Workers, Teachers, Child Care Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists,
Psychiatric Nurses, Trainers, Supervisors, and Mental Health Counselors

  • Demonstrate responsible and diagnostically appropriate action techniques
  • Understanding the mechanics of warming up a group or client for therapeutic action work
  • Understanding the benefits and potential hazards of these action techniques
  • Learn to do therapeutic role plays and to explore issues in a safe and responsible manner
  • Learn how action techniques can be used in individual counseling
  • Learn alcohol-related warm-ups and group closure techniques
  • Learn the therapeutic arch of how a group warms up, which leads to action and ultimately sharing
